How does the ICC Institute of World Business Law admission process work?

The ICC Institute accepts applications throughout the year.

Candidates wishing to apply for membership of the ICC Institute must follow a five-step process:

Step 1: Online application (see below) with the submission of a CV and a Cover Letter. Applications will be accepted in English.

Step 2: In accordance with the ICC Institute Statutes, the ICC Institute Admission Committee, appointed by the ICC Institute Council, will be informed of all applications. It will review them against the criteria set by the ICC Institute Council.

The Admission Committee may contact applicants to request more information or further clarification.


Step 3: Once the ICC Institute Admission Committee has reviewed applications, candidates will be informed of its decision.
Should the ICC Institute Admission Committee consider that an applicant should not become a member of the ICC Institute, the application will be referred to the ICC Institute Council for a final decision as to admission, upon a report of the ICC Institute Admission Committee.

Step 4: Upon notice of acceptance, candidates will be invited to pay the annual membership fee which runs from January to December.

What are the annual ICC Institute membership fees?

ICC Institute annual fees are applicable from January to December as follows:

To submit your application to the ICC Institute for the first time, please send your CV and cover letter to the contact below. You will be required to pay the membership fee only upon notification of acceptance from ICC. Applicants wishing to benefit from the ‘Under40’ category should also send a copy of their ID card/passport together with their application.
