Indirect Sales Strategist – contractor (Paris)
We are currently looking for an Indirect Sales Strategist to drive the growth of our indirect sales, with a focus on bringing ICC products to market and overseeing their promotion and distribution via a well-structured sales process.

The role:
The Indirect Sales Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our indirect sales channels, with a focus on bringing ICC products (e.g. Certificates of Origin, Genesis) to market and overseeing their promotion and distribution via a well-structured sales process. This role requires a strong commercial acumen and sales mindset, with a proven track record of performance in indirect sales, and the skills to develop an integrated go-to-market plan that aligns with our strategic sales objectives.
Mission:
- Develop and expand indirect sales channels to enhance market reach and increase sales volumes.
- Identify and prioritize target groups for product, uncovering their value drivers and needs to tailor our approach.
- Determine product positioning and value proposition to differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Craft a compelling commercial pitch and messaging framework to engage with channel partners and customers.
- Drive activities to stimulate demand for products – creating product pull for our channel partners
- Provide training and support to channel partners, enabling them to effectively market and sell.
- Monitor and manage sales performance of channel partners to ensure sales targets are met.
- Collaborate with marketing to create sales enablement materials and tools for channel partners.
Requirements
- Degree in business, marketing, sales or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ business experience in a high-performance environment
- A strong sales mindset with a proven track record in indirect sales and a proven ability to exceed sales targets
- Extensive experience with selling complex services indirectly via channel partners
- Proven experience in training and enabling channel sales partners
- Proven ability to drive robust demand building for channel partners and executing an integrated go-to-market strategy
- Ideally: experience working with chambers of commerce and general understanding of international trade trends
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influence skills, with high proficiency in English; French is a nice-to-have.
