The role

We are currently recruiting a Platform Administrator to maintain and support ICC Academy’s applications. You will work with the organisation’s most critical systems, services, and data and develop a deep understanding for organisational processes, rules and corresponding data flows and system impacts.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to propose comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations for successful project delivery.
  • Configure and administer the LMS platform to meet model requirements, and manage integrations with other related platforms (e-commerce, proctoring, certification, etc.).
  • Provide application support, liaising with users and application vendors to resolve incidents and restore service.
  • Analyse, investigate, programme, test, and maintain IT applications using SQL scripts or other software tools.
  • Ensure proper and timely documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up of incidents and requests.
  • Determine and oversee timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you:

  • Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related discipline.
  • Have at least two years of comprehensive software development experience, including implementation and support.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of SQL database (MySQL & MS SQL), dot NET, PHP, MVC/Web services, REST API, Ajax, JQuery and JavaScript framework.
  • Are hands-on and highly motivated with a desire to continually enhance technical skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Are a team player with great interpersonal skills, innovative and results oriented.
  • Are an organised self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Familiarity with data analytics solutions, Microsoft technologies, Business Intelligence is an advantage.
