The role

We are recruiting an Officer to join our IT Governance and Projects unit dealing with digital services lifecycle excellence

 

Main Responsibilities:

·       Governance, Referential and ISD standards

  • Contribute to the implementation of ICC’s IT governance framework, to enhance management and monitoring of IT investments and initiatives in line with ICC’s strategic objectives.
  • Support maintenance  of ICC’s information system baseline.
  • Strengthen enforcement of defined IT standards to ensure the quality, security, compliance and efficiency of IT systems and processes.

·       Portfolio and Project Management

  • Contribute to the coordination of ICC’s ISD teams to ensure smooth and efficient management of operational activities and the project portfolio.
  • Oversee progress of ongoing projects and activities, ensuring regular communication with the Head of IT governance.

·       Innovation and continuous improvement

  • Identify innovation initiatives to improve existing services, processes and systems.

 

List of duties

·       Governance, Referential and ISD standards

  • Maintain established governance frameworks, activity monitoring and reporting procedures among IT teams.
  • Oversee and contribute to the maintenance of ICC’s information system repository.
  • Oversee and contribute to the maintenance of the processes supporting ICC's digital services.
  • Oversee and contribute and oversee into maintenance maintaining the architectural blocks of the technologies supporting ICC's digital services.
  • Help identify opportunities and risks related to ICC's application architecture.
  • Oversee the reference and maintenance of ISD continuous monitoring associated with ICC's digital services.
  • Oversee internal and external stakeholder developments that impact ICC's digital services.
  • Manage IT vendors, and oversee the procurement and renewal of digital services.
  • Oversee and contribute to the ISD budget management.

 

·       Portfolio and Project Management

  • Oversee digital project portfolios, directly associated with ICC’s IT Department and business  units.
  • Assist the IT Department during digital projects, regardless of the IT Department's role on the projects.
  • Help apply best practices for project portfolios and ICC projects.
  • Monitor assigned projects in terms of planning, resources and budget.

 

·       Innovation and continuous improvement

  • Identify opportunities for innovation in areas related to the position, primarily around governance and project management.
  • Participate in relevant brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you have:

  • Good IT knowledge of the major digital asset families, from infrastructure to architecture.
  • Good IT knowledge of digital tools, starting with office tools, then ticket management tools (all types), and finally project management tools (including portfolio).
  • An understanding of ICC business application areas.
  • An understanding of modelling methods similar to BPMN.
  • An understanding of information systems security principles.
  • Writing skills to help formulate, create and maintain maps, processes and architecture documents.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and methods (planning, budget, resources, indicators).
  • A Rigorous and autonomous approach to managing daily tasks.
  • Soft skills: listening skills, dialogue to facilitate collaboration among IT department members. Ability to manage service providers.
  • The ability to be attentive to users, availability, flexibility and adaptability.
  • The ability to synthesize and analyse.
  • The ability to work in English and French
