Your personal data are processed in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”).

Identification and contact information. This information is necessary to achieve the purposes we collected it for.

If ICC uses the services of a survey provider, you are invited to read the privacy policy attached to this service, which will be available in link on the survey platform.

Purposes of the processing / Legal basis

The personal data are processed by the ICC for all or some of the following purposes:

  1. Sending the survey by emails;
  2. Collecting the identity and emails of the respondents when the survey is not anonymous for a follow up or a control of the reply process.

The purposes of the survey can be:

  1. Helping identify market needs of the interviewed companies;
  2. Helping administer new ICC projects;
  3. Producing and communicating an aggregate report on the results of the survey;
  4. Making research on the topic;
  5. Sending reports about ICC’s activities related to the topic of the survey.

Depending on the target of the survey, the ICC processes your personal data based on your consent given by the provisions of the data collected through this form when the target is non-members of ICC network, or on legitimate interest when the target is members of ICC network; or on contract.

Recipients or categories of recipients

Your personal data will be processed by the competent services of the ICC and may be transferred to any partners, co-organizers, of the survey.

The ICC may transfer your personal data to processors, like the provider of the digital tool or a consultant to help ICC in the analysis of the results.

Data retention period

The ICC processes and retains your personal data for the duration needed to achieve the purposes we collected it for; or  3 years from the collection or from your last contact with us.

The data is stored in Europe.

Automated decision-making including profiling

The ICC makes no automated decisions and profiles.

Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”)

As a global organization, ICC may need to transfer and process your personal information in a country other than your country of residence and/or outside of the European Union, to/in countries which may have different data protection laws.

In this case, ICC will put in place appropriate and adequate operational, organizational, procedural, and technical measures in order to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data.

According to the applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to access, rectify and erase any personal data concerning you, as well as the right to limit the processing, the right to oppose to the processing and the right to portability of your personal data.
