ICC open letter to finance ministers reform to mobilise finance for people, planet and prosperity

Ahead of critical climate finance discussions at the on-going United Nations climate conference in Madrid (COP25) ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton AO has issued an open letter to finance ministers seeking support for a concerted global policy agenda to mobilise finance in support of sustainable development and bold climate action.

Issued amid growing concern about persistent financing gaps to support the implementation of global sustainability objectives, the open letter includes a comprehensive 10-point plan to better align the governance of the financial system with the objectives of the 2015 Paris Agreement and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
