What’s your company’s #GlobalGoal ?
In the run-up to the 2017 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), the United Nations central platform for reviewing implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, ICC is calling for companies to share examples of what they are doing to support the Sustainable Development Goals – known widely as the “Global Goals”.
All companies, big and small, are encouraged to send ICC one sentence sharing concrete measures your business has taken to further one of the specific Global Goals that will be highlighted at this year’s HLPF. These are:
Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
Send your story by 5 July for the chance to be featured in ICC’s official communications outreach during the HLPF. This is an important opportunity to showcase the vital role of the private sector in driving implementation of the Global Goals and to inspire action from other businesses to lead the transition to a more prosperous and sustainable future.
