The World Chambers Federation (WCF) and the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce have announced a decision to cease collaboration on the World Chambers Network initiative established over 20 years ago as the official “chamber” portal dedicated to electronic international trade.

While the portal continues to be located at www.worldchambers.com, ICC WCF will no longer be associated with or endorse any of the products lines.

According to the notice, as of 1 April 2016 the platform and related services will be run by the technical service provider Storm Computing Systems based in Vancouver, Canada, with the Paris Chamber of Commerce maintaining its support for the time being.

Following the retirement of Georges Fischer, Director of International Networks at the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce, who led the WCN project, WCF will continue to work closely with his replacement Marianne Sasserant on matters of mutual interest. WCF will also lend support to Jean-Claude Karpeles, Vice-President of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce, who also serves as a WCF Vice-Chair.
