The ICC Academy Goes Live: Five is the magic number
The ICC Academy had its widely-anticipated commercial launch just over a week ago at the annual SIBOS banking convention. If you missed the events and news of the launch here’s what you need to know…
Five key courses on their way
Five courses will be rolled out in the coming weeks in the Academy’s ground-breaking Global Trade Certificate (GTC) programme – designed to enable banking professionals to meet the needs of their clients when it comes to financing their international trade requirements. The new courses provide introductory training on trade finance, guarantees, factoring, receivables financing and supply chain finance – with all content designed by leading experts from the global banking community. The first of these courses, Introduction to Trade Finance, is available today.
Five banks signed up as early adopters
Five banks – Commonwealth Bank of Australia, DBS, OCBC Bank, Banco Santander, and Standard Bank – have announced that they will be “early adopters” of the Academy. The banks are signed up to train their employees using the Academy’s first trade finance programmes-the introduction level GTC) and the more advanced Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP).
