Research project update

  • 3 August 2009

Global trade and employment will be the focus as 30 researchers from around the globe gather at the WTO at the end of August, with support from the Foundation.

The workshop is the first step in identifying priority issues for research on links between trade and employment. The presentations by researchers and a transcript of discussion will be made available on the Foundation’s website.

Reforming capitalism: Top CEOs from international companies will convene at the Harvard Business School in October with a challenge to devise an Action Agenda for business on dealing with the crisis of confidence in the market economy. An academic team from HBS will provide case studies and economic projections to stimulate the discussion on what companies can do to reform aspects of the market system.
