The wait is over: registration is now open for the highly anticipated 2015 Singapore Annual ICC Banking Commission Meeting to be held at the Raffles Convention Centre in Singapore on 20-23 April 2015.
The flagship event will bring together over 400 trade experts, banking professionals, business leaders, lawyers and government officials from over 65 countries under one roof to debate the key issues impacting the trade finance industry.
Hosted in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), the ICC Banking Commission is presenting its Annual Meeting under a new format, offering a new and more engaging structure to tackle a wide variety of strategic and technical topics.
Taking place over two days, the event will feature over 60 high-level keynote and panel speakers in a host of interactive plenary and breakout sessions, as well as lively roundtable discussions addressing the most topical themes in trade finance. These include the regulatory framework, opportunities and challenges for the industry, e-Trade platforms, competency and expertise to build robust market capabilities and opportunities across emerging markets. A detailed provisional agenda is now available for download.
In addition to providing unparalleled networking opportunities, the event will notably showcase the ICC Academy – a ground-breaking distance learning and certification institution currently being developed by ICC and set to initially focus on professional competency in trade finance. A keynote speech by a prominent speaker will set the ground for the first Annual ICC Academy Lecture on the topic of ‘Financing and the State of Global Trade’.
The strong growth of Asia’s economies has established Singapore as the world’s leading commodity and international trade hub. The ICC Banking Commission meeting is well timed to provide deep insight on the trends and challenges being experienced by those operating in this exciting market.
