Liverpool and Sefton Chamber of Commerce are bringing representatives from the world’s high growth markets to Liverpool over the 15 and 16 July for the “Power of the Chamber Global Network”, the high- profile two day event held during the International Festival for Business 2014, being held over June and July in the United Kingdom.

ICC World Chambers Federation is a partner of the event and is encouraging its extensive global network to take advantage of this gathering, which gives businesses the opportunity to forge substantial links for export growth and trade with the UK.

This flagship event will be held at the newly built Rum Warehouse on Stanley Dock, and consist of a mix of panel sessions and keynote speeches, aiming to connect businesses and organizations across the world towards developing sustainable and profitable partnerships, and providing businesses an insight into current market trends and opportunities across a wide cross section of high growth overseas markets.

Peter Mihok, Chair of the ICC World Chambers Federation and President of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will deliver the Opening Address of the Conference.

Day One of the Conference will feature keynote speakers and panel sessions with themes including Shipping and Maritime, Low Carbon economy, Exporting Services, Infrastructure in the Middle East, Europe and a focus on the High Growth Markets of South East Asia.

Day Two will be an opportunity for local businesses and overseas market delegates to host breakout sessions between potential importers, exporters, agents and distributors, on site and at the premises of Chamber of Commerce members already prominent in international trade as well as supporting professional services. These targeted B2B sessions will consist of small groups, providing the opportunity for one to one discussion, and are coordinated by Liverpool Chamber and overseas British Chamber staff with the aim of facilitating the start of productive sustainable partnerships.

The event will conclude with a Black tie gala dinner, celebrating Merseyside’s popular culture and famous cultural exports, and promises to be one of the highlights of the Festival For Business calendar.
