  • 26 January 2012

With final preparations underway for ICC’s Mediation Week, which kicks off on 2 February in Paris, interested participants have just a few days remaining to register for the 3rd Annual International Mediation Conference.

The one-day conference entitled “Make Mediation Happen! Getting your commercial dispute to successful mediation” will feature renowned mediators and dispute resolution professionals from companies such as Shell, Telefonica, GE, Bombardier Transportation, VINCI and Societe Generale de Surveillance who will give insight into the strategic, financial and logistical aspects of resolving commercial disputes by mediation and highlight real cases to engage with participants.
With the support of the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACCE), the Corporate Counsel International Arbitration Group (CCIAG), the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), the American Bar Association (ABA) sections of International Law and Dispute Resolution, the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and the Roundtable Mediation and Conflict Management of the German Economy, the conference – thanks to its unique format and rich content – has attracted international attention.
Past editions of the conference have sold out and with a only a few places remaining, participants are advised to register now to avoid disappointment.
The conference is the first event of the ICC Mediation Week, followed on 3 February by an opening ceremony cocktail for the 7th ICC International Mediation Competition. The Competition, ICC’s biggest educational event of the year, will bring together 66 universities and over 120 professional mediators from six continents to test their mediation skills.
The ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is the only moot devoted exclusively to international commercial mediation. The annual event has become the “must attend” event in international mediation.
