ICC Miami Conference brings global arbitration community together

  • 6 November 2026

The 24th ICC Miami Conference on International Arbitration will take place in Miami from 30 November to 1 December, bringing together arbitration practitioners and experts to discuss key developments in international dispute resolution.

Featuring more than 25 speakers, the programme will explore artificial intelligence in arbitral practice, investment contracts and mining-related disputes in Latin America, corruption allegations in complex disputes, and procedural developments under the 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules.

As the globally trusted gold standard in international arbitration, the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce provides businesses and governments with a neutral, reliable framework for resolving complex cross-border disputes.

Latin America continues to play a major role in ICC Arbitration with the region accounting for nearly one in five parties involved in cases filed in 2025, according to the latest ICC Dispute Resolution Statistics. The region also accounted for 16.6% of all arbitrator confirmations and appointments worldwide, reflecting its strong representation in ICC arbitral tribunals. Latin America and the Caribbean featured prominently in Emergency Arbitrator proceedings, accounting for more than a third of all parties involved (29 out of 84). The region also recorded 42 state and state-owned parties, representing 8.5% of all parties from Latin America and the Caribbean involved in ICC arbitrations in 2025.

As ICC’s first regional arbitration conference, the Miami Conference has grown into an established forum for the arbitration community, bringing together practising lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, corporate counsel, business representatives and academics from across Latin America and beyond.

The ICC Miami Conference on International Arbitration programme will begin on 29 November with an ICC Institute Advanced Training on complex arbitration, focusing on jurisdictional issues.
