The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together across a wide number of projects including trade and investment, banking and sustainable development.
Under the MoU, the ICC and IDB agreed to develop projects to help private sector development in Latin America and the Caribbean including the generation and dissemination of state of the art knowledge, capacity building activities and joint projects.
The MoU was signed today on the occasion of the 7th World Chambers Congress taking place in Mexico City. The agreement was launched with the celebration of a joint business-to-business seminar with the participation of business leaders from China, Latin America and the Caribbean, as part of IDB’s China-Latin America exchange programme.
