Conference on the practice of the ICC Court organized by ICC France
On 4 July 2013, the International Chamber of Commerce will be hosting at its headquarters a seminar organized by ICC France about “The Practice of the ICC International Court of Arbitration: a Worldwide Reference”.
The more informed companies are about arbitration, the more successful they will be in arbitral proceedings. The seminar will focus mainly on the two following topics:
- What are the decision criteria of the ICC International Court of Arbitration for all questions not submitted to the parties’ agreement, which fall under the scope of the jurisdiction of the Court, specifically since the 2012 ICC Rules of Arbitration entered into force?
- How does the daily practice of the Court take into consideration the expectations of the companies and their counsel?
Speakers will include Court Members, as well as Andrea Carlevaris, Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration who will speak about the nomination of the arbitrators and Maria Hauser, Counsel at the Court, who will explain how the Court manages time and costs.
