Alexis Mourre nominated to be President of the International Court of Arbitration

ICC is pleased to confirm that the nomination of Me Alexis Mourre, the President-elect of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, will be submitted to the World Council of the ICC for formal approval in Turin on 9 June 2015.

Mr Mourre is to take up office on 1 July 2015 in succession to Mr John Beechey. Save for maintaining his personal practice as an arbitrator in matters other than ICC arbitrations, Me Mourre will devote his time exclusively to his functions as President of the Court.
