UN recognises US$1.6 trillion trade finance gap


The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has welcomed official recognition of the estimated US$1.6 trillion trade financing gap in the United Nations’ (UN) annual Financing for Development (FfD) review.

ICC Chairman meets UN Secretary General


International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, today met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) António Guterres, at UN headquarters in New York. It was their first meeting since the historic decision to grant ICC Observer Status at the UN General Assembly last December.

ICC Secretary General appointed to UN Global Compact Board


United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appointed International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Secretary General Jean-Guy Carrier to the UN Global Compact Board, to which he will contribute a world business perspective on the Compact’s work.
