ICC BASIS (Business Action to Support the Information Society) has congratulated Brazil on the recently concluded NETmundial meeting and its contribution to the discussion of principles and values relating to the evolution of Internet governance processes.
ICC has welcomed the continued representation of business members in the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) which is responsible for steering the preparatory process for the 9th Internet Governance Forum (IGF) to take place in Istanbul from 2-5 September 2014.
ICC today welcomed the renewed strong representation of business in the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) responsible for steering preparations for the 8th Internet Governance Forum (IGF) – an open forum for policy dialogue on issues of Internet governance.
ICC has emphasized the essential contribution of business to Internet governance and development during Internet governance and development sessions held at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) 46th Public Meeting.
