The World Chambers Competition is organised by the ICC World Chambers Federation. It is the only global awards programme to recognise the most innovative projects undertaken by chambers of commerce and industry from around the world.
Since its inception in 2003, the Competition has generated an array of case studies demonstrating entrepreneurial diversity and inspiring other chambers. Ranging from networking and diversity initiatives to employment and membership drives, entries are submitted from all over the world – from developed, developing and least-developed countries.
The Competition is an unparalleled opportunity to raise the profile of these ground-breaking projects and give them significant and much-deserved visibility in the world business community.
Competition finalists and winners often experience a significant impact on their local and national profile and influence due to the recognition received for their submitted projects.
Each round of the Competition features new categories, providing chambers with an opportunity to share their unique projects with peers worldwide.
Open to the worldwide network of 12,000 chambers across all five continents, WCF invites Competition entries from every kind of chamber—from bilateral, local regional and national to public and private law.
An international jury, comprising WCF leadership along with representatives from transnational, national and local chambers of commerce, is responsible for shortlisting category finalists who go on to present their respective projects during the biennial ICC WCF World Chambers Congress.
