Internship – Engagement and Initiatives, ICC Dispute Resolution Services (Paris)
We are recruiting a dynamic Engagement and Initiatives intern to join the Marketing and Promotion team of ICC Dispute Resolution Services for a period of six months, starting in January 2025.

About the internship
We are recruiting a dynamic Engagement and Initiatives intern to join the Marketing and Promotion team of ICC Dispute Resolution Services for a period of six months, starting in January 2025.
The Marketing and Promotion team of ICC Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) promotes DRS services globally, enhancing worldwide visibility. It coordinates activities and events organised by ICC regional directors and national committees in over 90 countries. The Engagement and Initiatives team runs engagement programmes and network groups – such as the ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF), Alumni and LGBTQIA+ networks. It identifies new initiatives to foster greater diversity and inclusion in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
The role
Under the supervision of the DRS Engagements and Initiatives Project Manager, you will assist with the running of the diverse engagement programmes and network groups of ICC DRS.
Your learning opportunities and tasks include:
- Logistical support with the organisation of our upcoming events and initiatives;
- Maintenance and support on a range of DRS community platforms, including Alumni DRS, Alumni Court and ICC YAAF;
- Events and initiatives promotion, including correspondence with contacts and partners, sponsors, preparing mailings and drafting promotional material;
- Archiving ICC DRS articles and news publications for press relations;
- Statistics compilation for periodical reports;
- Guidelines and best practice toolkits support;
- Administrative tasks and preparation of documents, including PowerPoint presentations, feedback forms;
- Minutes and meeting assistance, including preparing background documents and briefing material;
- in-person and virtual event assistance, including visits and meetings via Microsoft Teams Meetings/Live Events or Zoom.
- Other tasks required to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.
Your profile
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Area student in marketing, communications, management, business, international relations, dispute resolution and other similar disciplines with strong academic credentials and prior work or internship experience.
- Are fluent in English (essential). Knowledge of French and/or another language would be an advantage.
- Have keen attention to detail and a rigorous attitude to work.
- Are able to moderate meetings and visits.
- Have computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PDF, Microsoft Teams Meeting, Zoom, Canva, SharePoint, PowerBI.). This will also be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of project management, analytics, design, and editing platforms would be a plus.
Important information before applying
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
- Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
- Our interns receive a monthly gratification of about €750 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
