Programme Manager – ICC Digital Standards Initiative

The role
We are looking for a Programme Manager to oversee the regional outreach and capacity building of ICC’s Digital Standards Initiative (DSI), which aims to transform global trade through digitalisation, by enabling regulatory reform, adoption and interoperability on digital trade standards, and scalable trust across the end-to-end supply chain.
This is a junior to middle management role, reporting to the DSI Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include:
- Programme development : Identify, shape and execute regional programmes that support trade digitalisation by building capacity in the public and private sectors (audiences include corporates, industry associations, technology solution providers, governments and inter-government organisations).
- Programme planning design : Based on a programme’s strategic objectives and any funding constraints, design specific aspects of the programme delivery, including detailed roadmaps and timelines for execution.
- Project coordination : Oversee multiple interconnected projects, manage their interdependencies, and coordinate activities to ensure they are executed effectively.
- Budget and resource management : Create and manage programme budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor spendings.
- Risk management : Identify potential risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and implement changes to ensure success.
- Stakeholder engagement and communication : Communicate goals, progress, and issues to key stakeholders, including executives and programme directors, to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Reporting and results : Report on the results publicly and to specific audiences.

Requirements
Your profile
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Have a minimum of three to five years of experience, ideally in trade, trade policy, digital economy or international affairs (holding a first-class honours degree is a plus).
- Have experience in designing and holding workshops, training courses and events.
- Are fluent in English, both orally and in writing (other languages and/or work experiences outside of Asia are a plus).
- Enjoy working on multiple projects at once.
- Are a team player.

Contract type and duration: Permanent contract, full time. Evening work may be required as global conference calls are frequently in the night-time in Asia (8pm-11pm local time), one or two times per week.
