About the internship
We are looking for a dynamic intern to assist in the organisation and execution of the ICC Mediation Competition – the biggest international moot worldwide dedicated exclusively to international commercial mediation.
Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
- Handling payment of registration fees as well as online registrations;
- Liaising with the accounting team;
- Handling daily correspondence and customer service provided to participants (students, university professors and high-level professionals);
- Preparing complex schedules (sessions, volunteers, etc.);
- Preparing promotional emails, meetings and trainings;
- Managing the event platform;
- Assisting with all logistics of the ICC Mediation Competition as well as other events and projects for the Education and Training team of ICC Dispute Resolution Services.
- Kindly note that you will not work on case management.

Requirements
Your profile
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Have a proven experience in organising large-scale events or projects;
- Are a team player who is able to work under pressure;
- Are good at managing priorities;
- Can take initiative and solve problems easily;
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Are service-oriented with a good attention to details;
- Have a knowledge of mediation and other forms of ADR;
- Are a native English speaker or equivalent with ideally a working knowledge of French;
- Have good computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
Terms and conditions
Important information before applying:
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
- Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
