About the internship
Our Global Communications team is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team for a six-month internship. Working directly with a range of international communications experts within the team, this is an exciting opportunity to gain first-hand experience in an international environment while developing your communications and marketing skills.
As global communications intern you will develop skills in:
- Administrative support
Enable the efficiency of our team by assisting with general administrative tasks, including maintaining the global communications calendar and supporting the coordination of meetings and team activities as needed
- Campaign planning: Support and participate in our campaign activities to understand each phase of the process — from strategy and rollout to measurement and review.
- Social media: Support online community management and content development working directly with our social media team.
- Media relations: Support our media outreach efforts using media monitoring services.
- Digital marketing: Get to know the digital marketing tools we use to reach and engage our full range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Tracking and reporting: Help us assess communications performance against KPIs using your research and analytical skills.
- Internal communications: Support internal engagement, showcasing campaigns and events for ICC staff.
- Teamwork and collaboration: Work with our diverse team and other ICC departments to build your interpersonal and professional skills.
Your profile
Requirements
Are you:
- A native English speaker or fully fluent with an ability to communicate in French?
- Studying communications/marketing or other relevant field?
- Enthusiastic, proactive and curious to know more about the work of ICC?
A communicator, looking to develop your storytelling skills?
- Able to adapt to an international work environment and work collaboratively with team members?
- Creative and curious to work with a range of tools/software/apps from design platforms (Canva) to media monitoring services?
- Handy with a camera to help snap the images we use to develop content daily?
- Up to speed with how social media works with a drive to develop skills on a range of platforms and using social media management tools?
- A team player with a generous attitude?
Important information before applying
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France
Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
Our interns receive a monthly gratification of about €900 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
