Contractor – Product Owner – ICC One Click AI Assistant

Product Owner – ICC One Click AI Assistant (Contractor) 

The assignment 

ICC is developing “One Click” into a trusted, AI-powered trade assistant that helps small and medium-sized enterprises navigate international trade with the aim of enabling increased trade activity and tangible business outcomes. 

To support this transformation, ICC is looking to work with an experienced consultant for a 12-month assignment to serve as Product Owner for the One Click platform. The consultant will have end-to-end responsibility for transforming One Click into a scalable and commercially successful digital service that that delivers measurable impact for SMEs and ICC.

The role combines strategic leadership, hands-on product ownership, and commercial advisory responsibilities. Working closely with ICC stakeholders, external partners, and development teams, the consultant will drive product development, iteration, go-to-market activities, customer success, and stakeholder alignment across ICC and its global network. 

A genuine interest in international trade and in helping businesses overcome the practical barriers to trading across borders will be essential. 

Scope of Services 

The assignment will include:

• Product strategy and growth: Define the product vision, roadmap, value proposition and commercial strategy, including pricing, partnerships and go-to-market activities.
• Product delivery: Lead discovery, prototyping, testing and continuous improvement, working closely with technology, data, design and subject-matter experts.
• Customer insight and performance: Gather market and customer feedback, monitor key performance indicators and support evidence-based decisions on product investment and growth.
• Governance and risk: Ensure robust quality, data governance, legal compliance and responsible AI practices.
• Stakeholder engagement: Align internal and external stakeholders around priorities, decisions and delivery objectives.

ICC would like to hear from you if you have: 

• Experience advising on, leading or scaling digital, platform, SaaS or AI-enabled initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, with exposure to growth, partnerships, go-to-market strategies or revenue-generating activities.
• A track record of working across multidisciplinary teams, including technology, data, design and business stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of generative AI, data-driven services and related legal, regulatory and risk considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action and measurable outcomes.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex, international environments.
• An interest in international trade and cross-border business challenges. Experience in trade, supply chains, customs, trade finance or related fields would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
