About recruitment and internships at ICC
Recruitment
We welcome applications from all nationalities. We are committed to attracting diverse talent and encourages applications from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds. You can read more about equality and respect at ICC here.
Do you require a work permit or visa? We are happy to support you in your sponsorship process, in line with local regulations and ICC’s internal policies.
Most roles require a strong command of English, with some positions requiring proficiency in both English and French. The level of proficiency needed depends on the specific role and department.
While the majority of positions are based at our global headquarters in Paris, we are an international organisation with offices and regional hubs around the world. Therefore, certain opportunities can be based internationally, depending on the team and business needs.
We have a hybrid working policy including two days in the office and three days remote, depending on operational requirements and the nature of the role.
Contract type depends on the position and organisational needs. We offer various contract modalities, including:
- Indefinite duration contracts (CDI if based in France)
- Fixed term contracts (CDD if based in France)
- Internships (subject to academic requirements; see below)
If no update is received within 4-6 weeks, it indicates that your application was not successful on this occasion.
Yes. You are welcome to apply for other vacancies if you believe you meet majority of the requirements.
References are generally contacted in the final stages of the interview process; you will be notified when we have reached this stage in the process.
We encourage you to:
- Review the job description carefully to understand key responsibilities and required competencies.
- Reflect on relevant experience and identify strong examples that demonstrate your skills and impact.
- Consult our mission and values to ensure you are culturally aligned and think of examples that can demonstrate this.
- Prepare competency-based examples (e.g. “Tell us about a time…,” “Describe a situation…,” “Give an example…”).
- Consider scenario-based questions (e.g. “What would you do if…?”, “How would you approach…?”).
- Test your technical setup if the interview is held online (audio, camera, internet, quiet environment).
- Prepare thoughtful questions about the role, team, priorities or organisational context.
- Consider your audience (HR, Hiring Manager or Senior Management) and tailor your questions and answers accordingly.
Due to the large volume of applications received, we are unable to offer individual feedback in preliminary stages of the application and interview processes. Interviewed candidates may receive feedback when appropriate.
