Consultancy – LATAM Dispute Resolution Services Promotion
ICC is looking for a consultant to assist with the promotion of its dispute resolution services in Latin America.

SCIAB Ltda. – ICC’s case management office in São Paulo – is currently looking for a consultant to assist with the promotion of ICC Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) in Latin America. The consultant will work closely with the Director for Arbitration and ADR Latin America, based in São Paulo. The role can be based in any country in Latin America, except Brazil.
The role
- Work with the ICC Director for Arbitration and ADR, Latin America
- Advise on the creation and execution of the annual business plan for Latin America
- Advise on the coordination of ICC DRS activities in Latin America
- Build and maintain durable relations with corporate counsel, corporate counsel associations, chambers of commerce and relevant State and State Entities
- Build and maintain ICC DRS social media presence in Latin America
- Deliver compelling presentations to key players in the legal and business communities (including government representatives, corporate counsel and lawyers)
- Undertake research on the latest developments in arbitration and prepare statistical reports with focus on Latin America
- Advise on responses to local queries regarding arbitration and other dispute resolution services pertaining to the application of ICC’s Arbitration and ADR Rules
- Organise and participate in conferences and events, meetings, training sessions and the ICC Young Arbitrator and ADR Forum (YAAF) events in different cities and countries across Latin America
- Advise on marketing materials developing, in line with the ICC brand guide, assets such as presentations, sponsorship brochures and flyers, and coordinate the budget for ICC Arbitration events in Latin America
- Prepare articles, correspondence and other materials to promote ICC Dispute Resolution Services
- Advise on setting up regional and global programmes, liaising with speakers, sponsors, ICC national committees, partners, etc.
Requirements
- Lawyer, preferably with at least 5 years of experience after graduation, preferably with knowledge of dispute resolution, particularly international arbitration
- Good interpersonal and social skills
- Availability to travel
- Great organisational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Premier Pro and Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage)
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Due to the high number of different projects at the same time, excellent multitasking abilities are necessary
- Excellent oral and written Spanish and English are essential; fluency in Portuguese is an advantage.
Terms and conditions
Location: Any country in Latin America, except Brazil
Contract type and duration: Consultancy agreement, 12 months with possibility for renewal.
Fee: Competitive, contingent on skills and experience
Start date: As soon as possible (ideally June 2024)
