Communications Manager – Global Communications (Paris)

The ICC Global Communications department is recruiting a creative and dynamic Communications Manager to tell the stories that showcase ICC’s impact and relevance on the global stage.
The role will be based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris.
The role
As ICC Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing content that showcases our work to the largest possible audience.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Creative copywriting: helping established and potential audiences globally understand the key achievements, developments, issues and business positions related to ICC’s mission and institutional priorities including through website content, social media articles, press releases, talking points, newsletters and video scripts.
- Compelling campaigns: working with the Global Communications team to develop compelling narratives and assets for global campaigns.
- Campaign coordination: partnering with the team, notably the social media, web and design leads, to develop campaigns and content that enhance ICC’s visibility with new and established audiences.
- Identifying opportunities: identifying opportunities to explain our work to business and external partners, in the context of real world developments and agendas.
- Regional outreach: delivering relevant and brand aligned content that supports our network of national committees in their efforts to raise the visibility of our brand and impact within their respective regions.
- Partners engagement: building on relationships with external partners and support new outreach and communications efforts with organisations such as UN agencies, WEF, WTO, B20, and more.
- Impact reporting: using data and metrics to assess the impact of our communications activities and come up with recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field (5+ years)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially writing for web techniques
- Social media savvy
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively to tight deadlines
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English and French is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Detail and service oriented with a can-do attitude
- Curious about trends in communications and developments in global affairs
