Internships – Global Policy (Paris)
We are looking for three dynamic interns to learn from and support the diverse work of our Global Policy department, as of 3 March 2025 for a period of six months.
As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”.

About the internship
We are looking for three dynamic interns to learn from and support the diverse work of our Global Policy department, as of 3 March 2025 for a period of six months.
You will each be assigned to one of the below Policy Commission clusters, on both administrative (logistics) and substantive (research, drafting, etc.) tasks:
- Group 1 (start date : 3 March)
- Banking
- Customs and Trade Facilitation
- Taxation
- Trade and Investment
- Group 2 (start date : 3 February)
- Competition
- Corporate Responsibility and Anti-corruption
- Environment and Energy
- Group 3 (start date : 3 March)
- Digital Economy
- Intellectual Property
- Marketing and Advertising
The role
Your learning opportunities and tasks include:
- Supporting ICC’s policy advocacy;
- Researching background themes and new items;
- Drafting meeting minutes and substantive summaries for member distribution;
- Assisting in liaison work with other international organisations and intergovernmental fora such as the WTO, OECD, UNFCC, WIPO, WCO and IGF among others;
- Assisting in the planning and logistics of Commission and Task Force meetings;
- Liaising with business members and representatives of ICC national committees across ICC’s global network;
- Lending support on an ad hoc basis to additional Global Policy Commissions as needed.
Your profile
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Have studies or experience in relative fields to the job description (economics, customs, finance, international relations, trade, environment or another relevant field);
- Are a fluent English speaker with excellent writing, analytical and organisational skills;
- Are meticulous in carrying out required duties;
- Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Have strong interest in fields pertaining to the work of the Global Policy department (previous experience would be an advantage);
- Are a team player who is interested in working with a dynamic and diverse team while gaining experience in an international policy environment;
- Have outstanding communications and interpersonal skills;
- Are able to work autonomously and with little supervision
Important information before applying
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
- Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
- Our interns receive a monthly gratification of about €750 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
