The role
We are seeking a Technology Lead based in Singapore to join the ICC Academy, ICC’s educational arm providing a wide range of specialised certification programmes, short-online courses and customisable workshops for professionals and businesses operating internationally.
In this role, you will oversee projects in ICC Academy’s technology portfolio, developing a thorough understanding of business processes, rules, data flows, and system impacts. Reporting to the Technology Director, you will work with key systems, services, and data to enhance the Learning Management System, e-Commerce, Student Information System, and exam proctoring platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in all stages of the software development life cycle including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and customer support for intricate systems.
- Serving as a single point of contact for users regarding all technical queries, analysing issues, developing a trouble shooting policy and researching/implementing resolutions.
- Managing cloud infrastructure and services such as Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare.
- Managing the integrations with related platforms (LMS, e-Commerce, proctoring, certification etc.).
- Embracing an "automation first" mindset, aiming to minimise manual tasks, improve processes and optimise the operations of support team.
Providing application administrative support across applications as needed. - Proactively monitoring the payments to provide support on the e-commerce platform and the payment gateways.
- Researching, identifying, designing, and implementing new technology solutions to support ICC Academy’s ambitions and future requirements.
- Ensuring proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of incidents/requests are conducted in a timely manner.

Requirements
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline;
- Have a minimum of four years of experience in software development, implementation, and support (experience in data analysis and visualisation is preferred);
- Have in-depth knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL & MS SQL), PHP, MVC/Web services, REST API, Bootstrap, and frameworks like Node.js.;
- Are hands-on and highly motivated with a desire to continually enhance technical skills;
- Are preferably familiar with data analytics solutions, Microsoft technologies, and Business Intelligence;
- Are experienced in Agile Scrum methodology;
- Possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to adhere to deadlines;
- Are a team player with great interpersonal skills who is innovative and results-oriented;
- Are an organised self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
