The Small Business Champions Initiative calls for submissions of innovative solutions and initiatives that help micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) leverage artificial intelligence to open new doors to international trade. The deadline for submission is 16 March 2026.
Artificial Intelligence offers MSMEs new ways to optimise supply chains, reduce costs and overcome trade barriers. From real-time analytics and tracking of shipments, to anticipating disruptions and navigating regulation, artificial intelligence holds immense possibilities for global sourcing, logistics and financial operations.
Whether you are developing new tools, delivering training or are already using AI to transform how MSMEs trade internationally, the competition is an opportunity to contribute, share what works and inspire others.
By celebrating real-world solutions, the Small Business Champions Initiative helps accelerate progress so that more small businesses can participate – and succeed – in global markets.
The winning proposal will be invited to participate in the ITU’s AI for Good Global Summit on 8 July 2026.
