Operations and Strategy Manager (CDD – Maternity Cover)

The role
We are seeking an Operations and Strategy Manager to join our ICC Operations team and work in close partnership with the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting directly to the COO, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the ICC’s strategic and operational priorities.
This position is a maternity cover, starting July/August 2026.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic and operational support
- Proactively support the COO in delivering strategic and operational priorities by taking ownership of defined initiatives and follow up actions.
- Contribute to decision making by preparing well structured reports, presentations and business analyses, turning data into clear insights and recommendations.
Project leadership
- Drive the day-to-day coordination and delivery of strategic and cross functional projects, from planning through to implementation and close out.
- Monitor progress, manage timelines and dependencies, and ensure alignment with ICC objectives, including the ICC Roadmap and the ICC Way.
Cross functional collaboration
- Act as a central point of coordination between teams, working closely with colleagues across ICC to support the smooth execution of strategic initiatives, such as the Operational Excellence programme.
- Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities, and proactively propose solutions to keep initiatives on track.
Change management and stakeholder engagement
- Support and advance change initiatives on behalf of the COO by coordinating actions, preparing materials, and following up with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support engagement, alignment and collaboration.
Business analysis and impact assessment
- Analyse relevant business data to assess outcomes, track impact and support continuous improvement efforts within the Operations function and transversally.
Communications
- Draft clear, concise and impactful communications for a range of audiences, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational priorities.
Additional responsibilities
- Take initiative in supporting the COO with ad hoc tasks and special projects, anticipating needs and proposing practical solutions where possible.

Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have a Master’s degree in relevant field;
- Have at least four years’ experience business analysis, project management, or change management;
- Possess outstanding writing and drafting skills in English, with an ability to engage with a variety of audiences (ICC Executive Committee, Executive Board, governments, multinational companies, small businesses in developing countries, etc.);
- Have excellent critical thinking skills and high attention to detail;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and network-building skills, preferably in an international context;
- Possess outstanding organisational and skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure with a ‘can-do’ problem-solving attitude;
- Are results-driven and outcome-focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lean Six Sigma tools, and project management and continuous improvement methodologies;
- Are fluent in English; proficiency in other languages would be an asset (ideally French).
