About the internship
We are seeking a motivated programme development intern to contribute to the roll-out of our programmes and to the development of grant-making opportunities in line with the Foundation’s mission and strategy.
Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
- Programme implementation support. Assist in the implementation and operation support of ongoing programmes, along with identifying and developing new market-based programmes that contribute to the Foundation’s objectives.
- Grant portfolio management. Support the management of the Foundation’s grant portfolio, including evaluating requests, conducting research and due diligence on potential programme partners, preparing proposals for approval, tracking the progress of funded programmes, and reviewing reports from grant recipients.
- Recipient onboarding and partner engagement. Assist the Head of Programmes to onboard selected recipients, along with engaging with programme partners to address challenges, gather feedback, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Impact measurement. Assist in developing and revising Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks in collaboration with the Head of Programmes and Operations Lead to measure impact.
- Research and reporting. Research and prepare reports, as needed, on a variety of topics pertinent to the work of the team.
- Cross-team collaboration. Work with various teams, including ICC, to ensure programme activities remain aligned with the Foundation’s broader strategy and objectives.
- Administrative support. Organise meetings, record minutes of meetings, organise the shared drive, and maintain a resource database of experts, officials, and institutions.

Requirements
Do not hesitate to apply if you:
- Are a student preparing a university degree in economics, political science, international relations, or another relevant field.
- Are fluent in English both orally and in writing. Knowledge of another language would be an asset.
- Have a strong attention to details and good organisational skills.
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a real interest in programme development, grant management and social impact. Previous experience in a non-profit and/or international organisation would be an advantage.
- Are comfortable working with high-level internal and external stakeholders, with a high degree of professionalism.
- Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Some knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) would be beneficial.
Terms and conditions
Important information before applying:
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
- Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
