The role

We are seeking a motivated People and Talent intern to join our Global Human Resources team and gain knowledge in talent acquisition, people management and employee engagement for a duration of six months.

Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:

Talent acquisition support

  • Participate in job briefings with hiring managers
  • Screen applications and build candidate shortlists
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, coordinating with international teams
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure timely follow-up

Recruitment analytics and headcount tracking

  • Track internship headcount (open roles, offers, active interns, end dates) and flag gaps or overages
  • Prepare concise weekly and monthly snapshots for HR and hiring teams

Onboarding and offboarding of interns

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics and documentation under the HR
  • Coordinator’s supervision
  • Conduct intern exit interviews and synthesise insights for continuous improvement
  • Support initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and community among interns

HR projects

  • Support job description reviews and harmonisation efforts
  • Contribute to the digitalisation and optimisation of HR tools and processes, including exploring AI-driven solutions

Employee engagement

  • Assist with engagement survey action plans and follow-up activities
  • Help organise intern networking sessions and community-building activities.

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are a student who is organised and interested exploring the human resources space, with strong academic credentials and prior work experience.;
  • Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Have a good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience with an ATS is a plus);
  • Are a team player who is interested in working with a dynamic and diverse team;
  • Have outstanding communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Can work autonomously and with little supervision;
  • Are fluent in English both orally and in writing. The knowledge of French and/or any other language would be a plus.

Terms and conditions

Important information before applying:

  • You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
  • Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
  • Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
  • Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships. 
  • Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
