Description

As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”. We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations – from the World Trade Organization to the UN climate process – championing the needs of local business in global decision making. The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $17 trillion dollars in trade each year – as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally. We also provide the world's premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC's unique independence, integrity, and expertise.

The role

We are seeking an Innovation Manager, Products & Services (contractor) to join us for 12-month consultancy role. You will be in charge of transforming ideas into market-leading products and services that generate revenues, thus strengthening ICC’s ability to enable global trade and advance responsible business practices.

You will work with our ICC Product Innovation Lab, Product Leaders Community and other internal stakeholders to lead the end-to-end development of new products and services, from idea creation to market launch.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving opportunity-focused ideation incorporating qualitative and quantitative research, internal and external workshops, focus groups, and design thinking practices;
  • Continuously scanning the market to track emerging technologies, industry shifts, and competitor activities to uncover opportunities for new revenue-generating products and services;
  • Applying a business-first approach to idea evaluation, using transparent, ROI-driven criteria to assess and prioritise new concepts, working closely with cross-functional teams and ICC’s global network to define product roadmaps and key initiatives;
  • Developing go-to-market strategies that maximise revenue potential, advising on launch approaches, pricing models, and distribution channels to optimise market penetration and impact.
  • Forging strategic partnerships with solution providers, leveraging external expertise and resources to enhance ICC’s product portfolio and accelerate go-to-market;
  • Leveraging data-driven insights from analytics, user feedback, and market research to refine product offerings, ensuring sustained competitive advantage and long-term commercial success.

This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, a keen understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to identify and capitalise on new product opportunities.

Success in this position will depend on the ability to translate complex challenges into scalable, high-value solutions, collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, and forge strategic partnerships that expand ICC’s product offering.

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have at least five (5) years of professional experience, ideally split between (i) innovation strategy, product management, and go-to-market/business development and (ii) strategy/management consulting (or consulting-style roles).;
  • Ideally have experience working with an international organisation, membership-based organisation, or trade association;
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking in building and executing long-term innovation strategies that align with ICC’s mission while delivering strong commercial outcome;
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities, develop business cases, and scale successful products;
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects to completion.
    Proven ability to engage and collaborate with diverse, global stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement to drive insights and improvements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with full professional proficiency in English; French and/or another language is a nice-to-have.
