The role
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Product to lead the development, innovation, and management of ICC Academy’s learning portfolio. This leadership role is critical to realizing ICC Academy’s mid-term growth plan and ambition to become a global leader in professional trade education. The role combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, deep understanding of learning innovation, and strong stakeholder leadership.
Strategic Product Leadership
• Define and execute the product strategy in alignment with ICC Academy’s business objectives and growth priorities.
• Develop and manage a scalable product portfolio based on market demand, learner needs, and commercial potential.
• Ensure product-market fit and competitive positioning, leveraging ICC’s global reputation and standards.
Product Development & Innovation
• Lead the in-house creation of high-quality learning solutions in ICC’s core domains—such as trade finance, compliance, and sustainability—as well as emerging areas like leadership and digital transformation.
• Leverage technology, including AI and digital learning tools, to enhance product design, delivery, and learner experience.
• Explore partnerships to curate and distribute relevant third-party content to enrich the Academy’s offerings.
Market and Customer Insight
• Conduct ongoing market research to identify client needs, emerging trends, and skills gaps in global trade and professional learning.
• Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and competitor landscape to refine offerings and pricing strategies.
• Develop clear value propositions and pricing models that ensure both learner impact and commercial success.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to ensure smooth go-to-market execution and product performance.
• Collaborate with ICC global stakeholders and regional teams to localize content and tailor products for different customer segments (B2B, B2G, and B2C).
• Contribute to key client engagements where strategic product expertise is needed.
Team Leadership
• Build and lead a high-performing product team with capabilities in instructional design, digital development, and subject matter expertise.
• Foster an agile, learner-centric, and data-informed culture within the team.
• Create a structured product governance framework to prioritize initiatives and manage the lifecycle of offerings effectively.
Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning
• Position ICC Academy as a credible authority in professional education by driving innovation aligned to market needs.
• Champion strategic initiatives that enhance the ICC Academy’s impact, visibility, and credibility in global trade learning
Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in product management, instructional design, or educational innovation, ideally within the professional education, edtech, or certification space.
- Fluency in English a must.
- Proven ability to develop and scale successful learning products across global markets.
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset with a track record of delivering revenue growth through product innovation.
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, digital pedagogy, and hybrid/blended learning design.
- Experience integrating learning technologies and platforms (e.g. LMS, AI content generation, gamification).
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Global mindset and ability to lead multicultural teams and partnerships.
