Talanoa Dialogue Workshop

The Talanoa Dialogue, previously referred to as the Facilitative Dialogue, is aimed at determining how collective action can move the global climate agenda forward. It will focus on three questions: (1) Where are we? (2) Where do we want to go? (3) How do we get there? The yearlong process of discussions, consultations, events and expert inputs will take place from January 2018 and culminate at COP24 in Katowice, Poland.

The ICC Court of Arbitration and ICC Panama are organizing their biennial International Arbitration Conference on 30 January to discuss topics regarding the recent developments of arbitration in Latin-America and the world. This conference will be preceded by two conferences: a Conference co-organized by ICC and the International Bar Association (IBA) and ICC YAF Conference both on 29 January 2018.


5th ITA-IEL-ICC Joint Conference on International Energy Arbitration

The ICC International Court of Arbitration (ICC) is co-organizing along with the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) and the Institute for Energy Law (IEL) of the Centre for American and International Law the 5th edition of their joint conference on international arbitration in the energy sector, being held on 18-19 January 2018. Procedural issues such as arbitrator selection and emergency arbitrators will be explored, and the new era of disputes in the Mexican energy industry examined.


Business Briefing at IGF 2017

The business briefing is hosted and organised by the Business Action to Support the Internet Society (ICC BASIS), an initiative of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), which advocates private sector views on Internet governance policy issues.


ICC Arbitration Advanced Seminar

ICC India Arbitration Conference

In continuation of ICC India Arbitration Conference series, this conference will bring together leading practitioners to discuss key issues in domestic and international arbitration, with a special focus on Indian practice and experiences under the ICC Arbitration Rules; the recently introduced Expedited Procedure and the Court’s policy decisions on transparency.


ICC YAF: The arbitrator’s duty to disclose potential conflicts

This conference will focus on one of the first challenges young practitioners face when they are for the first time appointed as arbitrators: the written disclosure statement. Two panels will explore the disclosure framework and the scope of the arbitrator’s duties in light of the existing guidelines and recent case law, as well as the consequences of a failure to disclose a potential conflict.


25th Croatian Arbitration Days

The jubilee two-day annual conference 25th Croatian Arbitration Days, co-organized by the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Croatian Chamber of Economy (PAC CCE) along with the ICC International Court of Arbitration (ICC) and ICC Croatia, is dedicated to “Procedural aspects of international commercial arbitration”.

Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution

ICC Russia’s 10th International Arbitration Conference will provide an insight on ICC Court’s practice in the selection of arbitrators, the administration of disputes and the application of the new ICC Expedited Rules. The conference will also address corruption in international arbitration; and provide an overview on landmark arbitration cases of 2017.


ICC daily activities at COP23

COP23 will take place from 6-17 November in Bonn, Germany under the leadership of the Fijian Presidency. ICC, as the UNFCCC focal point for business and industry, will be hosting the official BINGO Day on Thursday 9 November and will be facilitating a daily Business and Industry (BINGO) Briefing from 9-10am (except Sunday) throughout the negotiations.
In addition, ICC will be representing the business perspective in the negotiations and will be actively participating in the following COP23 sessions and events.



The Libyan Center for International Commercial Arbitration jointly with the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 5th edition of the ICC Maghreb Arbitration Days. This International Conference will discuss arbitration in Libya in light of comparative experiences and international arbitration organizations.


ICC YAF: Nuts & Bolts of International Arbitration – Effective cost management

Second in a series of ICC YAF conferences in Beirut, this edition is organized in collaboration with the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). This conference will focus on the nuts and bolts of cost issues in international arbitration.
This conference aims to provide the participants with expert advice on how to save time and costs in arbitration proceedings and how to rule on costs issues as a tribunal.

Renovating international arbitration: New ICC practices and managing evidence

The ICC Court of Arbitration and ICC Cuba are hosting a conference in La Habana, aimed to discuss topics regarding evidence in international arbitration. Also, it will feature members of the ICC Court and its Secretariat who will explain the amendments to the ICC Rules of Arbitration, as well as other ICC policies to foster transparency in arbitration.


International Tax Conference ‘Growth and Taxes’

ICC, in co-operation with BIAC and BusinessEurope, is hosting an International Tax Conference in Munich to discuss key tax policy issues with a view to facilitating cross-border trade and investment in the post-BEPS era. While the conceptual phase of the BEPS Process has been accomplished, it is now crucial to monitor its implementation and to alleviate some of the overly burdensome effects of the BEPS Project.


International Commercial Arbitration and New Trends in the Field

This one-day conference is jointly organized by the ICC International Court of Arbitration, ICC Romania National Committee and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. The morning will take the form of round tables on the procedural aspects of the arbitrator’s independence and impartiality issues, while the afternoon will focus on the Revised ICC Rules and the new fast-track procedure for small claims.

32nd Annual ICC SIA QMC Joint Symposium of Arbitrators on Abuse of Process and International Arbitration

The ICC Institute of World Business Law acts as a think-tank working closely with the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Composed of experienced professional and academics, it proposes training and conferences on different topics related to international business law and international commercial arbitration.
