Advances made towards ATA implementation in Mexico

Following years of suspense, the Mexican Customs administration (SAT – Servicio de Administracion Tributaria) has appointed CANACO (the Mexico City Chamber of Commerce) as the national guaranteeing and issuing organization for ATA Carnets in Mexico.

Moldova next in line to join ATA chain

The Republic of Moldova will become the 67th country to join the ATA Carnet system as of 1 July 2010. With a modest recovery predicted for the Moldova economy in 2010, the move will help facilitate trade and open new business opportunities with the country.
