The “Going Global – ICC Training on Trading Internationally” course provides guidance for both exporters and importers on international trade and suggests strategies to address the risks and challenges faced by trade professionals when dealing with international markets. As ICC is committed to developing tools to facilitate international trade for SMEs and larger companies, this training offers core knowledge about such business resources.
Emily O’Connor, Senior Policy Manager of the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practice, said: “This training provides a comprehensive guide to international trade. Its exhaustive syllabus covers essential themes for all parties involved in global commercial transactions. The platform is easy to use and points users to practical tools such as ICC’s range of model contracts, as well as providing a handy glossary of fundamental international trade terms.”
By completing six user-friendly modules, trainees will learn about indispensable documents in trade, financing international trade, commercial law and dispute resolution, as well as salient issues related to e-commerce and intellectual property. Other key issues include transportation, customs, payment and finance structures. At the end of each module, users can test their knowledge by completing an assessment.
