Infrastructure disputes – An ICC perspective

The conference will consist of a Key Note address from the President of the ICC Court, followed by a panel discussion on infrastructure disputes and a brief report on ICC Commission’s Working Group on Construction Arbitration.on ICC Commission Task Force on Construction Arbitration and issues that arise in such disputes..


In his Key Note address, Alexis Mourre will speak about the new policies of the Court and highlight the recent policy decision to boost transparency in ICC arbitrations. He will also talk about the new expedited rules for ICC Arbitration. Thereafter, Doug Jones, would give a presentation on ICC Commission’s Working Group on Construction Arbitration.

The Secretary General of the ICC Court, a senior arbitrator and members of the host firm – Corrs Chambers Westgarth will take part in the panel on infrastructure. Participants will benefit from ICC’s perspective on award scrutiny in infrastructure disputes as well as views from Australian practitioners representing parties in infrastructure disputes.

The conference will provide an active platform for participants to express their views and engage in interactive debates with leading practitioners
