ICC YAF : Using a Mock Arbitration to Improve your Case

The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum ( ICC YAF) is organizing an event in Los Angeles. The conference, generously sponsored by Latham & Watkins LLP will take place on 1 November.

Description

The conference will focus on an interactive program on mock arbitrations. Presenters will walk through the process of a mock arbitration and will discuss how to plan for, conduct, and incorporate the lessons of a mock arbitration to improve your case.

The ICC YAF event will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration, and to enrich their network in the region.

Topics will include timing for scheduling a mock arbitration within the overall timetable of your case ; selection of mock arbitrators ; scope, content, and structure of the mock arbitration; preparation of arguments and documentary evidence ; and strategy for conducting post-mock interviews and addressing mock arbitrator feedback
