ICC YAF: UNICTRAL Model Law-Different Cultures, Different Approaches

The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) is co-organizing, with DIS40, an event, kindly hosted by BNT Attorneys at Law, entitled ” UNICTRAL Model Law: Different Cultures, Different Approaches” to be held in Riga, Latvia, on 2 June.

Description

ICC YAF and DIS40 will host a joint seminar aimed at discussing the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and the various approaches adopted by countries in its implementation into national arbitration laws. Participants will, inter alia, witness an Oxford-style debate reflecting on whether a unified or an individual approach is more beneficial in the transposition of the UNCITRAL Model Law into national law. The event will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange views and broaden their network in the region
