ICC YAF: Towards more efficiency and transparency – The New ICC Rules of Arbitration

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) and Miranda are co-organizing a conference in Lisbon on 5 April 2017.


Revisions to the ICC Rules of Arbitration have been made with the aim of further increasing the efficiency and transparency of ICC arbitrations. The revised rules are in force since 1 March 2017. The new rules introduce expedited procedure rules for smaller claims, amongst other relevant amendments, both being introduced by arbitration practitioners with different legal and cultural backgrounds.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years and under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on the new ICC Rules of Arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
