ICC YAF: The new UAE arbitration law – overview and expectations

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a conference to discuss the imminent introduction of the new arbitration law in the United Arab Emirates, its impact on arbitration users and the legal landscape, and how the new law might effectively function.

Description

The ICC YAF conference will take place on the eve of the 6th ICC MENA conference and will focus on the new UAE arbitration law, providing an overview of the current arbitration landscape in the United Arab Emirates followed by a panel discussion during which speakers will consider the likely impact of introducing the new arbitration law as well as any gaps that may still remain.

 

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
