ICC YAF: Killing me softly with EU Law: What to do after the CJEU Judgement in Achmea?

The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a breakfast seminar in the wake of the controversial CJEU ruling in Slowakische Republik v. Achmea BV in order to discuss and consider the consequences of this ruling and the impact it will have on intra-EU treaty arbitration.

Description

A panel of leading academics and practitioners in the field will be sharing their thoughts on the CJEU ruling, following which debate from the floor will be encouraged. The event will be preceded by breakfast and will be  sponsored by Pinsent Masons.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
