ICC YAF: Is Arbitration the Preferred Method of Dispute Resolution in Light of the Recent Amendment?

The ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a conference to be held on 6 August in Ahmedabad, Gujrat.


The conference will focus on the impact of recent amendments to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and its effect on the arbitration process. Deliberations on various issues such as – Whether Arbitration will now be a preferred mode of dispute resolution and have these made the Arbitration process more favourable and feasible? The conference will also focus on the scope of Judicial Intervention in Arbitration proceedings with the advent of the Amendment Act, 2015.
