Phnom Penh, Cambodia, • English / Khmer

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a seminar on basic procedures of international and domestic arbitrations specific to Asian countries.

Arbitration is one of the most commonly used types of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) which is getting more and more popular around the world. As the world gets more international and diverse in the recent years, it is important for lawyers to know not only about litigation but also other types of dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration – both domestic and international. In this seminar, the speakers will explain basic procedures of international and domestic arbitration specific to each of the regions – Cambodia, Japan, Singapore and other ASEAN countries. Drafting techniques of arbitration clauses will also be addressed by the speakers during the seminar.
