ICC YAF: International Arbitration and Privatization of Public Companies in Greece

This conference will give insight into the status of international arbitration in Greece following the large scale privatization of public companies in the country


The event is an opportunity for all professionals involved and interested in international arbitration to exchange with ICC representatives, legal counsel, arbitrators and in-house counsel on the specific questions related to the disputes arising out of contracts following the privatization of public companies in Greece. In addition, the speakers will deal with the conduct of arbitration proceedings when one of the parties is the Greek State and notably the enforcement of arbitration awards against the State.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
