The event will focus on the increasing – yet often neglected – role of human rights in international arbitration. After welcome remarks, the panel will explore the relationship between human rights and international arbitration from three perspectives: (i) commercial arbitration; (ii) investor-State arbitration; and (iii) the new frontier of business and human rights arbitration (e.g. arbitration under the Bangladesh Accord).
