ICC YAF: How to be a good ‘Second Chair’

London, United Kingdom, • English

ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organising an event looking at the role that ‘Second Chairs’ and other members of the legal team play in preparation for and at the arbitral hearing.

Description

As arbitration practitioners progress through their legal careers the expectations on them become more complex and more demanding. At this event we hope to look into the role of the various elements of the legal team in preparation for, and at, an arbitral hearing and share some advice on best practice.

This event will feature speakers with experience of the different roles lawyers are expected to take at arbitral hearings and offer their advice.

Who should attend?

This conference is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
